{"id":675,"date":"2025-06-12T14:22:06","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T14:22:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salaam.foundation\/?page_id=675"},"modified":"2025-06-12T14:41:20","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T14:41:20","slug":"algemene-voorwaarden","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/salaam.foundation\/en\/algemene-voorwaarden\/","title":{"rendered":"Algemene voorwaarden"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 1 \u2013 Definitions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Foundation<\/strong>: Stichting Salaam Foundation, legally registered in Sittard-Geleen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Volunteer<\/strong>: a person who performs unpaid work for the Foundation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Donor<\/strong>: a natural or legal person who donates money or goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Services<\/strong>: all activities carried out by the Foundation in support of its humanitarian objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parties<\/strong>: the Foundation and any natural or legal person who directly or indirectly makes use of or is involved in the activities of the Foundation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 2 \u2013 Objective of the Foundation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>provide humanitarian aid in poor countries, particularly Afghanistan;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>distribute food, clean drinking water, shelter, education, and other basic necessities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support projects that promote self-reliance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>raise awareness of humanitarian issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation is a non-profit organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 3 \u2013 Applicability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These general terms and conditions apply to all activities, services, collaborations, donations, and other relationships with third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deviations from these terms and conditions are only valid if agreed upon in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 4 \u2013 Liability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation is only liable for direct damages resulting from intent or gross negligence by its board members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation accepts no liability for indirect or consequential damages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers act at their own risk; the Foundation bears no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 5 \u2013 Volunteers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers are expected to comply with the rules of conduct and instructions issued by the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation reserves the right to terminate the cooperation with any volunteer at any time in cases of misconduct or incompatibility with the Foundation\u2019s objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 6 \u2013 Donations and Spending<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All received donations will be used for the purposes of the Foundation as outlined in its statutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation will maintain transparency in the use of funds through annual reports and\/or financial statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donations are irrevocable and cannot be reclaimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 7 \u2013 Data Protection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal data will be used exclusively for purposes consistent with the mission of the Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 8 \u2013 Amendments to the Terms<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendments will be published on the website and take effect on the date of publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Article 9 \u2013 Governing Law and Disputes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These general terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disputes will be resolved amicably in the first instance; if no resolution is reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Article 1 \u2013 Definitions In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions apply: Article 2 \u2013 Objective of the Foundation The Foundation aims to: The Foundation is a non-profit organization.
